The NSA has its own team of elite hackers

The NSA has its own team of elite hackers:

You knew the NSA has to have some hackers, that's the backbone of the computer industry, it's why we keep up to date and constantly evolve the computer world. Someone writes tremendously great code, and then there is someone else that has to test it, probe and continue to try and break what has been done.

In this case, the 'hackers' or computer specialists are employed by the government. To give them a title of 'hacker' would be lumping them in a group that possibly sheds a negative light on them, but they are doing a job and there job is tinkering with the delicate balance of right and wrong in a changing world.

Read on through into the intrigue and deep dark passages that this Washington Post article speaks about, into the world of spying and keeping one step ahead of the bad guys.

Oh and we were told that all of this was happening starting years ago in the US, and if you want to read about that, here's Wired Magazine's post archive on it from 2004/2005 when a lot of this went into motion.

What can the NSA learn of with all of this surveillance? That will continue to evolve as well, who controls what is seen and what information is used for what purposes? It's a weighty issue that is still very much in the early stages of debate and issue with what some people see as over the line. It's starting to make President Nixon look like a saint though, especially in the words that he uttered before he left office, "I am not a crook."
