Scandinavia cracks down on Facebook's unsolicited ads | PCWorld

Forget about the fact that if you click 'Like' on a company or product, you could appear in other people's newsfeeds on Facebook and appear that you are endorsing that product or company without compensation to you.

Don't you find those type of unsolicited ads annoying on Facebook? Or the other ads that just magically appear in your Facebook timeline? Well in Europe, unless you agree to having yourself baraged with ads, it's illegal, and now Facebook is in trouble in Scandinavia because of it.

Is this something that should be done, or should you expect that from a company in using their software to communicate the way a lot of us do? This is of course what a company needs to survive, a revenue source.
